Since the last full moon, I've become a little obsessed with the nodes of the moon and how they point to our karmic destiny. Once I found out how the south node shows us where we have the most experience and feel the most comfortable, (from this life and others) and the north node ..where we can put that experience to use, to benefit ourselves while also simultaneously benefiting other people to the highest degree. I've had to find out and learn as much about this subject as I possibly could.
It's helped me come to terms with my life and also to those people I am and have also been closest to.
The key to unlocking your karmic destiny, can be the driving force that moves you further and far beyond where the limited pre-conditioned mind allows any human to know. Knowing exactly where the soul is calling a person to go and further develop. So that they can get the utmost benefit out of life, before moving on to the next one.
The benefit of knowing where and how your north node operates, will give you a better understanding. As to why you are here and also why you are drawn to similar experiences over and over again.
Usually these experiences will be the most challenging ones, since we are not usually so fully equipped to deal with them. Yet we seem to come across them quite often, in order to master, realize and fulfil whatever higher calling or purpose we are here for.
Each one is different for each person, depending on the sign. Which house it sits in and how it's aspected with transits and conjunctions. I don't look too much at trines and squares as they just seem irrelevant compared to the bigger picture. Though if you have one or more planet sitting with the north node, the effects of those planets will be intensified in a persons life to a greater or lesser degree.
Also looking to where the ruler of the sign is placed in, can give a good idea of where our focus should be maintained. If it's in the first house, then that would be to focus on the body and physical aspects of the self. The opposite of that would be the seventh house of partnerships and others in general.
Let's just say the North node is there instead, then that would place the south node in the first house of the self. Which would make someone more aware of others since they know themselves so much and don't really need to learn those lessons anymore.
Hopefully this gives you some insight and direction, so you can move forward with more confidence and determination in what your doing and how you go about doing it.
